A simple way of planning task 1s that involve numbers :)

This is my strategy for task 1 questions that involve numbers 😉👍

1) Brain storm the following:

a) highest number/lowest number
b) main similarities/ main differences
c) Most dramatic change/difference/ Least dramatic change/difference

2) If you can get 3 groups of information great. If you can't then stick with 2. My logic behind this is that you have to find a logical way of grouping your information together in paragraphs to get a good mark for CC, and the way I have grouped the information above is very logical. You do not have to mention all key features, so if you have a key feature that is by itself, you can just drop it. 2 groups means you have 4 key features. 3 groups means you have 6.

3) Write the introduction by rephrasing the question. Make sure you add any information that is missing that describes the task.

4) Write the overview in a separate paragraph below the introduction. Start by using the linker 'Overall'. This highlights that you are introducing an overview. Present the key features you have selected in groups. You will gain marks for comparing, so make sure you compare and contrast your key features in the overview. This is an article that explains how to write overviews

5) After you have finished writing the overview, write 2 body paragraphs, one group of key features in each body paragraph. If you have 3 groups of key features, then you can write 3 body paragraphs.
