CC is an abbreviation that is used for Coherence and Cohesion, which is one of the 4 criteria in both writing tasks (1 and 2). Coherence means how logical and easy to understand writing is, and 'cohesion' means how linked it is.
Coherence focuses on the consistency, organisation, and flow of the writing, whereas the focus of cohesion is on how well the candidate uses cohesive devices. Both of these can be improved on, which makes CC along with TA (Task Achievement) the 2 areas of criteria that are the most focused on by IELTS instructors.
