Yes, you can. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it helps make the opinion of the writer clear from the beginning. Sometimes when the writer makes a few grammatical or lexical mistakes, the position is difficult to work out. However, when the opinion is clear from the introduction, the examiner will be able to understand what the writer is trying to communicate. This is especially true for those only aiming for a band 6.
